About · the kit
The rig behind the films.
A ZV-E1 built into a one-man film rig. Scroll and watch it come apart — matte box, glass, monitor, V-mount, handle — down to the body that does the work.

Built piece by piece
A working rig is a small machine — every accessory adds weight and speed in equal measure. Here is what actually travels to a shoot.
Gear doesn't make the film
A better rig buys convenience, not taste. The frame, the timing, the cut — those come from the person holding it. This kit is here because it gets out of the way, not because it does the work.

About me
I'm Charles — a videographer and editor who splits his time between two obsessions: food stories and motion.
For years I've made food content as the Unqualified Cook; now I shoot and cut for brands and lifestyle clients. My work sits where the two meet — films that feel hand-made, graded and finished in DaVinci Resolve, with sound design that sells the shot and AI-assisted tools wherever they make the film better.
